What this service is for

This service helps you manage symptoms of sore throat, including pain when swallowing, irritation, and redness. If suitable, our pharmacists can provide public health service treatment or recommend over-the-counter relief to ease your discomfort.

Who it’s for

This service is available to adults and children aged 5 years and over experiencing sore throat symptoms such as dryness, scratchiness, or mild pain. If you have high fever, difficulty breathing, or worsening symptoms, we may refer you for further care.

How it works

You’ll have a short consultation with our pharmacist to assess your symptoms. If necessary, they may provide an public health service treatment such as antibiotics or recommend effective OTC solutions like lozenges, sprays, or pain relief.

What to expect

Sore throats often improve within a few days with proper care. Treatment from the pharmacy can speed up recovery and reduce discomfort. If your sore throat persists longer than a week or worsens, we may refer you for further investigation.
